A fishing trip through south france
Luka Blazic & Girlfriend from Slovenia
Finally I fullfilled my long lasting dream to fish two lakes in south France. Thank god for the small iBoat 160, which turned out to be amazingly spacious and stabile and very good as a transport boat, even in quite strong wind and waves.
My Baits
I rolled Imperial Baits Carptrack Monster-Liver boilies with little Carptrack Elite flavour and
Black Pepper essential oil.
Short summary of happenings
On first lake I managed to catch 9 carps and lost one. On Cassien it was diferrent, I struggled hard and lost two fish and than on the final morning, few hours before packing up I caught my first Cassien Big One! Monster-Liver Boilies did it again for me!
My girlfriend was with me on a 16day trip, but it wasn’t all fishing, I fished six days on each water. We visited Nice, Cannes and Monaco and we made trip to magnificent Lac de St.Croix, for me one of the most beautiful lakes. So happy with my first trip to south France, I’m still very excited and I can’t wait to get back and explore new carp waters…
I WILL BE BACK, for now I wish you pleasure with my picture SHOW…!

We drove over the big Cassien bridge to fish first on an another lake

Here we are! I was hot to go fishing now!

Our small umbrella – we don’t need something more, the weather was really nice during our trip

The sun goes down and I was waiting for the first contact
.jpg)
The next morning!
My first french carp – what a beauty!!!

Because the ground was very muddy, I used Carptrak Half’n Half Elite Hookbaits for a perfect presentation!

The Half’n Half Elite Hookbait made the job!

A beautiful Mirror!
.jpg)
Because of the small catfish (Katzenwelse) I have to coat the hookbaits to protect them…
.jpg)
I used Fox Bait Floss for it!
.jpg)
Here is one of the average fish from this lake
.jpg)
Korda Dark Matter
.jpg)
A smaller carp but a really hard fighter!
.jpg)
My last fish from this beautiful reservoir

A lovely meal and than we say…

As far as the eye can see beautiful scenery in france
.jpg)
Next step! For me one of the most beautiful lakes – Lac de Saint Croix
.jpg)
A place where I could grow old…
.jpg)
See the trip from Max Nollert in 2007 to this lake on the DVD Carp Total VOL 1
With Carp up to 28,5 kg!

And now let’s rock Saint Cassien! YEAH!

We went up to the north
.jpg)
Thank god for the small iBoat 160, which turned out to be amazingly spacious and stabile and very good as a transport boat, even in quite strong wind and waves.

I also used Carptrack V-Pops soaked in Elite Flavour!
.jpg)
What a beautiful play of light
.jpg)
Everything is ready for my first Cassien Bull 🙂
.jpg)
I swear of broken Carptrack Monster-Liver Boilies
.jpg)
But I tested also the new Worm Up Range – what a grandiose smell!
.jpg)
On Lac de Saint Cassien I have some trouble with crayfish, but the Carptrack Boilies are very strong to resist the attacts for a long time!
.jpg)
Also my girlfriend enjoyed the warm sunshine in the iBoat 160
.jpg)
On Cassien it was very difficult, I struggled hard and lost two fish!
.jpg)
My rods are ready for the last night – hope to catch my first Cassien carp!
.jpg)
Some rig accessories which I need on every trip
.jpg)
The last sundown on the mystic lake who wrote so many stories
.jpg)
Our small camp
.jpg)
And than on the final morning…
.jpg)
…few hours before packing up I caught my first Cassien Big One!
.jpg)
I was so happy like a little kid at Christmas!
.jpg)
Keep on moving baby!
.jpg)
Nice to see the low water level
.jpg)
My sleepy dog…
.jpg)
Time to say good bye – I will dream a lot of you till I will be back!
.jpg)
The last days of our holiday trip, we explored the beautiful cities of the Côte d‘ Azur
.jpg)
between palm trees and sunsets…
.jpg)
…light painted buildings…
.jpg)
…and a very good steak!
.jpg)
A large marina drew my attention to itself
.jpg)
South France – there is too much to discover it in a human life!
