World Carp Classic Qualification 2015 – in the Czech Republic

Between 12.-16.8.2015 I was fishing with my good friend Honza „Carpkiller“ Hubka on the qualification fishing for the WCC 2015 (this year at Lac de Madine) here in the Czech Republic.

The location was a public gravel pit Sandberk

We were fishing for 2 days at position no.19. This was one of the worst places on the lake but we had one run the last day on Osmotic Spice Boilies. Unfortunately we lost the fish.

In the middle of the competiton all teams changed their position. We moved to no.1. The first night we had 4 fish and jumped to the 3rd place.

This was not enough as only the first two teams went through the qualification and go to the WCC on Madine this September.
Saturday afternoon I had a brutal run and a very big fish on my line. But again I lost it in the trees. This was definitely the fish that could make us the winners. We still needed one fish about 10kg as only the three biggest fish count for the last score. Last night I had four carp but any of them on the weight we needed.

About 2:30am my friend had a run with 9.30kg common…

…and this was the fish that sent us to the Lac de Madine!!!

We finished on the 2nd place with only 2kg behind the winners.

But this time also 2nd place was winning so we made it!
All the last fish were caught on IB Carptrack Elite Strawberry!!!
